Hi everybody!
It's been a bit too long since I garbled on here so here's a few bits of grammar formed into sentences to keep you going for a while!
Firstly, please check Turn Lights On (@TLOnow) with Georgina Jones - an amazing concept that really can change your life. The basic idea is that you really do turn someone's light on by saying hi, smiling at them, eye contact, conversation, helping them out....the list is endless. But I've been trying to do some of this and it really does, in turn, turn your own lights on. I gave someone who was short of change at the garden centre some money...I helped a struggling lady by carrying some really heavy shopping bags to her car...I turned many lights on through my Bowen work by easing pain and discomfort...I let someone through in the queue at the supermarket before me...I was 'there' for a friend in need when she needed a shoulder! That's just a small part in my 'lights on' few weeks and by no means do I think that I'm some sort of saint for doing all that or that I want or need any praise for it. It's enough to get a smile back, a heart-felt 'thank you' or seeing a client let go of their pain....that's more than thanks enough. It turns my own lights on knowing that I've been able to help or support someone who needed it....it has helped me knowing that I've been able to make a difference!
It's the little things that matter and as Christmas is just around the corner, I'm trying to keep that in mind. So please try it for yourself....as Tesco's say (other major supermarket chains are available!)...every little helps! You are that somebody and you can make that difference!
Try it...you won't regret it...honest! x
